The Center for Islamic Studies and Researches
 

This center has about 400 researchers who work in two assistances of research and information. The research assistance itself includes four research departments as follows:

1. Philosophy and theology
 
2. Jurisprudence (Figh) and law 

3. Political thought of Islam

4. History and Seerah

 The research assistance also includes some research departments as Ihia al-Tarath al-Islami, lexicography, Answer to questions, Arabic literature , translation and edition.

The information assistance includes other units too as the site "Balagh.net" on Internet, the information network of "Shareh", the data bank of Islamic sciences, the House of magazines, the public library , the Marj'a library, the central library of the research center, the specialized libraries of the research departments, and production of software such as Balagh I, Balagh II, Ahlul-Bait (A.S), etc.

The center for Islamic studies and researches is one of the greatest research and scientific centers in Iran. The center has so far published about a hundred books that some of them are as follows: 

-The Precious Set of Bihar Al-Anwar, The Treatise of Abi Qaleb Zarari, Qaiat Al-Murad, The Foundations of the Philosophy of the Christianity, The Language of Religion, The Philosophy of Religion, The history of Transformation of the Government and Caliphate in Islam, Mizan Al-Moluk Wa Al-Taw'ef, Azbet al-Magal, Lexicography of the Quranic Sciences, Philosophy and Principles of Jurisprudence (Fiqh), The Index of Manuscripts available in the library of the Islamic Assembly, Asfa Commentary, The religious thought in 20th Century,etc. Hundreds of books are under production too.

Naqd Wa Nazar (Quarterly), the Ayeneh-e-Pazhoohesh (Two-monthly) and  Ba Ma'aref Islami Ashna Shawim (Quarterly) are the magazines published by the center.
